Justin R. "Lefty" Cormier, 29, of 169 Ash Street, Gardner died suddenly Sunday, February 20, 2011 in Heywood Hospital, Gardner after being stricken ill.
Justin was born in Gardner on June 9, 1981, the son of Rheal J. and Yvette (Boudreau) Cormier.
He was a roofer employed by the former Multi-State Roofing Company of Winchendon until becoming disabled after a fall.
Justin graduated from Gardner High School, Gardner with the Class of 1999. He was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, Gardner. He was also a member of the Templeton Fish and Game Club of Templeton.
Justin enjoyed fishing, playing hockey and video games. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially his three children.
He leaves his mother, Yvette (Boudreau) Cormier and his stepfather, Ernest J. LeBlanc; one son, Maison J. Cormier of Winchendon; two daughters, Haylie S. and Kaydince Cormier both of Winchendon; one sister, Melissa N. Cipriano and her husband Michael of Londonderry, NH; his paternal grandparents, Lionel and Lena (LeBlanc) Cormier; his paternal step-grandmother, Noella LeBlanc of Gardner; several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his father, Rheal Cormier and by his maternal grandparents, Emile and Bertha (Legere) Boudreau.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, February 26th from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner with a Mass at 12:00 p.m. in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Gardner at a later date.
Calling hours in the funeral home will be Saturday, February 26th from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
