June "Prune" C. Hebert, 79, of Gardner, died peacefully, Saturday, March 20, 2021, in Wachusett Manor, Gardner, after an illness.
Born in South Ashburnham on June 3, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Antonia (Ares) Hebert.
June was a parishioner of the former St. Anne's Church of South Ashburnham, where she helped clean the church in her younger years, and a parishioner of Annunciation Parish/ Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church of Gardner. She enjoyed playing BINGO and going shopping. June loved her family and treasured time spent with them as she was an extraordinary sister, aunt, and person to many.
June is survived by her sister, Leonette T. Gagne of Gardner; nieces, Michelle LaBonte, and her husband Ronald, Kerry Galvin and her husband Carlos, Rhonda Lison and her husband George and Kandi Smart and her husband John; nephews, Michael Gagne and his wife Gizelle, Edmond Gagne and his wife Theresa; several great-nieces and nephews and several great-great-nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Paulette A. Taft; nephews Craig and James Gagne; great-nephew, Mark Gagne; and a close neighbor, Clyde Bennett.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, March 27, 2021, with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in Annunciation Parish at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA. Burial at Calvary Cemetery, Glenallen Street, Winchendon, MA, will be held at a later date.
A Calling Hour will be private.
