Juliette (Girouard) Wheeler, 86, of 102 Leafield Road, Danville, Ca and formerly of 119 Douglas Road, Gardner for many years, died peacefully, Monday, December 28th in her residence, surrounded by family.
Juliette was born in Gardner on February 17, 1923, the daughter of the late Albert and Alice (LeBlanc) Girouard.
Juliette graduated from Gardner High School, Gardner with the Class of 1941.
She was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, Gardner.
Juliette's hobbies included knitting, crocheting and invisible re-weaving. She enjoyed watching the game shows Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune on television. She was an avid fan of the Boston Celtics, New England Patriots and the Boston Red Sox. Juliette loved chocolates. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
Juliette was predeceased by her husband of 42 years, Orin Wheeler, who died in 1987.
She leaves two sons, Jack D. Wheeler and his wife Annabella of Danville, California and Daniel G. Wheeler and his companion Dawn O'Hare of Hudson, New Hampshire; one granddaughter, Sharon Connolly and her husband Kevin of Pittsfield, MA; one great-granddaughter, Marquesa Connolly; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by five brothers, Jerry, Albert, Louis, George, Hector and Joseph Girouard.
A Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, January 6th at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner. Burial will be held at a later date in Notre Dame Cemetery, Gardner.
Calling hours are private and will be held at the convenience of the family.
