Juliet E. (Hamel) Thibault, 57, of 12 Clark Street, Gardner died Wednesday, May 21st in her residence following a brief illness.

Born in Fitchburg on November 4, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Irene (Plouffe) Hamel.

Juliet was a press operator employed by Travers Welding of Gardner for twenty years, retiring in 2000.

Juliet graduated from Oakmont Regional High School, Ashburnham with the class of 1968.

Mrs. Thibault was a member of the West End Beagle Club, Gardner. She enjoyed hunting and was a talented artist who enjoyed painting and sketching.

She was predeceased by her husband of 26 years, Richard A. Thibault, who died December 18, 2007.

She leaves one son, Jesse S. Drake and his wife Jennifer of Clinton; one brother, Louis Hamel, Jr. of Gardner; two sisters, Gloria Godley and her husband Thomas of Anthony, Florida and Jackie Page and her husband Richard of Winchendon; one granddaughter, Olivia B. Drake of Acton; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by one brother, Paul Hamel and by one sister, Vivian Goguen.

Funeral services will be held at a later date at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Winchendon.

Calling hours in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner will be Thursday, May 29th from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
