Julia K. "Sheila" (Jaillet) Erickson of Templeton, died peacefully Saturday February 17, 2018 at the Gardner Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, following a long illness.
Sheila was born in Templeton on May 5, 1937, the daughter of the late Edmond and Julia (Conners) Jaillet. She graduated from the former Templeton High School with the Class of 1955.
Sheila was a kind caring women working most of her adult life as a Nurse's Aide before finishing her career working with adults with developmental disabilities.
She enjoyed being in her home crocheting, doing puzzles, watching television, playing cribbage, chatting with friends and spending time with her beloved cat. Sheila was an avid Boston sports fan, especially her Red Sox. She treasured spending time with her family whom she loved dearly.
She leaves two sons, David Erickson and his wife Jane of Auburn, Maine and Bob Erickson and his wife Catherine of Hubbardston; five grandchildren, Brian, Kristen, Michael, Conner and Meghan Erickson; nieces and nephews, Patrick, Jeanne, Anne, Ellen, Thom, Mike, Nancy, Joan and Betty; several cousins and lifelong friends. Sheila was predeceased by two sisters, Mary Lavoie and Anne Brown.
She was a member of St. Martin's Church of Otter River.
All services are private and will be held at the convenience of the family.
