Joseph C. Philbrick, 53, of Gardner, died peacefully Monday, January 31, 2022, in UMass Memorial Medical Center—University Campus, Worcester, after a short illness.
Born in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, on February 2, 1968, he was the son of late Charles and Jane (Pontremoli) Philbrick. He graduated from Ashland High School, Ashland with the Class of 1986. At the time of his passing, Joe was a Supervisor employed by CE Civil Engineering at Hanscom Air Force Base, MA for many years.
Joe enjoyed the outdoors at all points of the year. He enjoyed camping, hunting, and golfing during the warmer months, and during the winter, snowmobiling and skiing. Joe also enjoyed playing BINGO. His pride and joy was his family, treasuring all the special moments they had together.
Joseph is survived by his wife of 22-years, Lisa (Shanholtz) Philbrick of Gardner; two sons, Aidan and Christopher Philbrick, both of Gardner; two daughters, Stephanie and Aimee Philbrick, both of Gardner; two brothers, Richard Philbrick of Marlboro and Gerald Philbrick of Milford; an uncle, Michael Philbrick; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Ron Philbrick.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, February 5, 2022, at 3:30 p.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA.
Calling Hours will be held Saturday, February 5, 2022, from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the funeral home.
