Baldwinville

Joseph H. Mason, 71, of Baldwinville, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 12, 2024, at UMass Memorial Medical Center—University Campus, Worcester, after a brief illness.

Born in Gardner on December 5, 1952, he was the son of the late John “Jumbo” and Marie (Dunn) Mason. He graduated from Narragansett Regional High School with the Class of 1971 and was licensed as a Second Class Fireman. Joseph was a service engineer employed by Temple-Stuart of Templeton and then Seaman Paper Co. in Baldwinville for many years.

Joseph most enjoyed cooking for his family, sharing his wide array of knowledge with his children and grandchildren, and watching Westerns with his wife. He enjoyed spending time on the softball field playing in various leagues throughout the area and was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing with the self-proclaimed ‘Wild Bunch.’ His greatest joy was his family, treasuring his once-a-month “Christmas dinners” with them and countless other memories.
