Joseph L."Pete" Jaillet

Joseph L. "Pete" Jaillet, 86, who resided at 127 Logan Street, Gardner for the past 47 years, died peacefully Sunday, April 1, 2012 in Wachusett Manor Nursing Home, Gardner.
Born in Gardner on December 3, 1925, he was the son of the late Pierre and Collette (LeBlanc) Jaillet.
Pete was a Machine Operator employed by Simplex Time Recorder of Gardner for 32 years, retiring in 1989.
He was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church and it's League of Sacred Heart.
His hobbies included golfing, bowling and playing cards. He was an avid sports fan, especially of the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. He most enjoyed spending time with his family, which included traveling to California to visit with his daughter and her family.
Pete was a member of the Napoleon Club, the Deer Club and the Salmon Club all of Gardner.
He leaves his wife of 51 years, Alma T. (Melanson) of Gardner; one son, Peter J. Jaillet and his wife Margaret of Gardner; one daughter, Jane T. White and her husband Mark of Glendora, CA; one sister-in-law, Louise Jaillet of Gardner; five grandchildren, Travis Jaillet, Hillary Jaillet, Allison White, Jennifer White and Sean White; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by two brothers, Septime Jaillet and Calixte Jaillet; and by one sister, Gertrude Gallant.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, April 4th from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Gardner.
Calling hours in the funeral home will be Tuesday, April 3rd from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
