John T."Woody" Woodward

John T. "Woody" Woodward, 68, of 70 Lanes Road, Westminster died suddenly
Tuesday, May 28, 2013, at his residence after being stricken ill.
Born in Fitchburg on December 21, 1944, he was the son of the late Paul and Arlene (Gilson) Woodward.
John was employed by C & W Fabricators of Gardner as a Supervisor for 40 years, retiring in 2004.
He graduated from Oakmont Regional High School, Ashburnham with the Class of 1961.
John enjoyed reading, bike riding and taking walks with his fiancé Claudia. He loved spending time with his family, and going to York Beach, Maine.
John was predeceased by his wife of 40 years, Annette L. (Lajoie) Woodward, who died January 26, 2010.
He leaves one son, Darren E. Woodward of Ft. Walton Beach, FL; two daughters, Colleen M. Ketchuck of San Antonio, TX and Melissa M. Sund and her significant other Larry Bankowski of Templeton; his fiancé, Claudia J. Lane of Westminster; four grandchildren, Michael G. Ketchuk, Derrick A. Woodward, Zachary J. Sund and Nicholas A. Sund; one great granddaughter, Elizabeth J. Woodward; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by two brothers, David Woodward and Robert Woodward; and three sisters, Jane Mason, Mary Mason and Joanne Barnes.
A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, June 9th at 3:00 p.m. in Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner.
A calling hour will be Sunday, June 9th from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
