John R"Goody" Goodrich

John R. Goodrich, 30, of Gardner passed away Saturday February 7, 2015 in Heywood Hospital, Gardner, after months of declining health.
John was born in Worcester on December 8, 1984, the only child of Kelly M. (Cormier) Goodrich and the late John R. Goodrich.
He was raised in Gardner and Petersham. John attended both Oakmont Regional High School of Ashburnham and Quabbin Regional High School of Barre, where he enjoyed playing football. He also played hockey for a number of years.
John was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church of Gardner.
He was an accomplished finish carpenter and worked most recently at A&J Construction in Dedham MA. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends; four-wheeling, boating and any activity that involved Trystan, Kiley and Johnny.
Besides his mother, John is survived by his wife, Trystan Nardone of Gardner and their two children, Kiley and John Goodrich; maternal grandfather, Donald Cormier; several aunts and uncles, Carolyn Goodrich, Paul and Carmen Goodrich, James and Teresa Goodrich, Shelly and Charles Martel and Joseph White; as well as two close cousins, Jamie White and Breanne White. Besides his father, he was predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Doris Cormier and by his paternal grandparents, John and Anna Goodrich.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, February 14th from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner with a Mass at 12:00 p.m. in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery of Gardner, at a later date.
Calling hours will be Saturday, February 14th from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
