John H. Dube, 50, of 42 A Street, Gardner, died Friday, December 12th in Heywood Hospital, Gardner, following an illness.
Born in Gardner, on September 11, 1958, he was the son of Leo A. and Sylvia H. (Roy) Dube.
John was an electrician, employed by various contractors.
John received his G.E.D. in 1980. He was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, Gardner. John was a member of the American Legion, Post 129 of Gardner.
He was an avid sports fan, especially of the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. He enjoyed fishing, playing pool and U.S. history.
Besides his parents, Leo A. Dube of Templeton, and Sylvia H. Dube of Gardner, he leaves; four brothers, David H. Dube and his companion Sally Swanson of Gardner, Michael R. Dube and his companion Tracy of Clearwater, Fl, Thomas E. Dube and his wife Heather of Winchendon and Christopher R. Dube and his wife Jessica of Winchendon; one sister, Denise G. Woodward and her husband Scott of Templeton; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 30th at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner.
