John M Dube

March 27, 1964 — November 7, 2009

John M. Dube, 45, of 58 Nichols Street, Gardner, died peacefully Saturday, November 7th in UMASS Memorial Hospital, University Campus, Worcester, surrounded by his family.

John was born in Lynn, MA on March 27, 1964, the son of the late John P. Dube and Dorina (LeBlanc) Dube-Boucher.

Prior to retiring several years ago, John was a furnace technician employed by Huhtala Oil Company of Templeton and previously by Peoples Fuel Inc. of Gardner.

John graduated from Montachusett Regional Vocational Technical School, Fitchburg, with the Class of 1982.

He was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Gardner.

John enjoyed fishing, hunting and doing puzzles. He liked to travel to Canada to visit his mother and step-father. John had a passion for music and was a musician, who played several instruments.

John leaves his mother, Dorina (LeBlanc) Dube-Boucher and step-father, Ernest Boucher of Musquash, N.B. Canada; one son, Kyle Dube of Gardner and his girlfriend, Kendra Draleau of Hubbardston; his fiancee, Wendy LeBlanc and her son Paul of Gardner; two brothers, Paul I. Dube and his wife Maria of Gardner and his twin, James M. Dube; one sister, Karen Welch and her husband Chester of Gardner; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and five great-nephews. He also leaves his godson, Randy E. Welch of Gardner.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, November 14th at 1:30 p.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Gardner.

A calling hour in the funeral home will be Saturday, November 14th from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donors choice.
