Jeannine (LeBlanc) Daigle, 74, of 102 High Street, Gardner, died peacefully Saturday, May 29th in UMass Memorial Medical Center, 55 Lake Ave North, Worcester following a brief illness.
She was born in St. Paul N.B. Canada on July 7, 1935, the daughter of the late Joseph and Marie Louise (Richard) LeBlanc.
Jeannine was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, Gardner.
She enjoyed baking, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren.
Jeannine leaves her husband of 54 years, Livain J. Daigle of Gardner; one son, Michael J. Daigle of New York City; two daughters, Joanne M. Leblanc and her husband Paul of Templeton and Debbie A. Robbins and her husband Jonathan of Athol; two brothers, Alfred LeBlanc and his wife Maria of Dieppe, N.B. Canada and Leo-Paul LeBlanc and his wife Antoinette of Gardner; two sisters, Maria LeBlanc of Bouctouche, N.B. Canada and Theresa Poirier and her husband Dismas of Waltham; six grandchildren, Melissa L. Allsobrooks, Nicole M. Beauvais, Ryan S. Daigle, Matthew P. LeBlanc, Sarah A. LeBlanc and Dusten J. Daigle-Gray; one great-grandson, Tyler Allsobrooks; one sister-in-law, Claudette LeBlanc of Gardner and one brother-in-law, Clarence Gautreau of Moncton, N.B. Canada; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by three brothers, Emerie, Francis and Oscar LeBlanc and by three sisters, Yvonne Johnson, Florence Brow and Dorilla Gautreau.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 5th from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Gardner, at a later date.
Calling hours in the funeral home will be Saturday, June 5th from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
