Jeannette M. Fournier

Jeannette M. (Gallant) Fournier, 82, of 33 Ash Street, Gardner, died peacefully Sunday, August 25, 2013 in Life Care Center of Leominster, following a long illness.
Born in Rumford, Maine on June 20, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Clovis and Emily (Legere) Gallant.
Jeannette was employed for 25 years by Harrington-Richardson Company of Gardner as an inspector, retiring in 1989. She was also employed by Simplex Time Recorder of Gardner.
Jeannette was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church of Gardner and its Ladies of St. Anne Society.
She enjoyed traveling reading, walking and spending time with her family and friends.
Jeannette leaves her husband of 63 years, Enoil L. "Inky" Fournier of Gardner; one daughter, Susan M. Fournier and her husband Larry DeBlois of Princeton; one sister, Jackie Laprade of Gardner; two grandsons, Jonathan DeBlois and his wife Stephany of Boston and William DeBlois of Oahu, Hawaii; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by two sisters, Ida Gallant and Bertha Gallant; and by one brother, Joseph L. Gallant.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, August 29th from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Gardner.
A calling hour in the funeral home will be Thursday, August 29th from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
The family would like to thank the staff of Summit Elder Care in Leominster for the wonderful care they provided to Jeannette during the last three years of her life. Also, a special thank you to the home health aides for the excellent care they provided on a daily basis to Jeannette in her home.
