Jeannette P. (LaPrise) Bouchard, 77, of Gardner, died peacefully Friday, October 21st in Heywood Hospital, Gardner, following a short illness, surrounded by her family.
Born in Gardner on April 19, 1934, she was the daughter of George and Beatrice (Savoie) LaPrise.
She was a teachers' aide employed at Waterford Street School for the Gardner School System for 10 years until retiring in 1981.
Jeannette was a 1952 graduate of Gardner High School.
She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church. She enjoyed dancing, traveling, eating out, watching television, especially Wheel of Fortune and Days of our Lives. Jeannette was known to be a great cook and her greatest enjoyment came from being with her family.
She leaves her husband of 57 years, Robert T. Bouchard of Gardner; a son, Randall T. Bouchard of Gardner; 2 daughters, Lynn A. Hager and her husband Steven of Gardner, Lori J. O'Rourke and her fiance Brian Clough of Gardner; a brother, Donald LaPrise and his wife, Linda Kuropatkin of Gardner; 3 grandchildren, Nicholas G. O'Rourke, Ryan R. O'Rourke both of Gardner and Brent S. Hager and his wife Kim of Leominster; a niece, Alyx LaPrise of Athol and several cousins.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 26th from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols St., Gardner with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 166 Cross St., Gardner. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Gardner.
Calling hours at the funeral home are Tuesday, October 25th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
