Jeannette Ione (Manseau) Beauregard, 86, of 368 Park St., Gardner, died Tuesday, February 26th in the Baldwinville Nursing Home, Baldwinville, following a lengthy illness, surrounded by her family.
Born in Gardner on October 12, 1921, she was the daughter of C. Henry and Anna (Malo) Manseau.
She was a Licensed Practical Nurse employed at the Baldwinville Nursing Home for several years until retiring in 1983. She was previously employed at the former Gardner State and Rutland State Hospitals.
Mrs. Beauregard was a 1939 graduate of Gardner High School. She was a member of the last graduating class of Licensed Practical Nursing at Gardner State Hospital in 1970.
She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church. She enjoyed bowling, crocheting, knitting, and thoroughly enjoyed being outdoors mowing the lawn. Mrs. Beauregard spent many memorable times at her son David's camp at Two Rivers Campground, Skowhegan, ME.
Her husband of 60 years, Norman H. Beauregard Sr., died in 2000.
She leaves 6 sons, Norman H. Beauregard Jr. and his wife Lucienne (Dede), Allen J. Beauregard, Eugene M. Beauregard and his wife Anne, Raymond D. Beauregard all of Gardner, Daniel J. Beauregard and his wife Annette of Westminster, Arnold H. Beauregard of Hudson; 4 daughters, Nancy M. Cormier and her husband Roger of New Port Richie, FL, Jeannine A. Miller and her husband Edward of Manchester, NH, Suzanne L. Hakkinen and her husband Joseph of The Woodlands, TX, Elaine E. Jandris and her husband Edward of Winchendon; 2 daughters-in-law, Virginia Beauregard of Brunswick, ME and Kelly G. (Bickford) Beauregard of Gardner; 1 brother, Henry Manseau of Scarborough, ME; 36 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by 2 sons, David R. and Timothy J. Beauregard and a sister, Olive Robichaud.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 1st from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols St., Gardner with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols St., Gardner. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Gardner.
Calling hours at the funeral home are Friday, February 29th from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
