Janice M. Yurewicz, 73, of Gardner, died peacefully Friday, March 13, 2015 in St. Vincent's Hospital of Worcester, following a brief illness.
Born in Gardner on December 8, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Wacy and Viola (Ringuette) Yurewicz.
Janice graduated from Gardner High School with the Class of 1960.
She was a Certified Nursing Assistant employed by Heywood Hospital of Gardner for 33 years, retiring in 2002.
Janice was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church of Gardner.
She enjoyed movies, crossword puzzles, watching soap operas on television and was a pianist and organist who enjoyed all music. Janice loved her home and spending time with her family.
Janice leaves two sisters, Carol Augusto and her husband George of Gardner and Judy Melanson and her husband Raymond of Gardner; four nephews, Christopher Augusto and his wife Nancy, Jonathan Augusto and his wife Tanya, Scott Melanson and his wife Amy, and Keith Melanson and his wife Sarah; several great nieces, great nephews and cousins.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, March 19th from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery of Gardner at a later date.
A calling hour will be held Thursday, March 19th from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
