Janice “Chick” M. (Sears) Stellato, 76, of Gardner, died peacefully, Thursday, June 24, 2021, with her family by her side.
Born in Gardner on May 24, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Earl D. and Elsie (Lashua) Sears. She attended the former Sacred Heart of Jesus School of Gardner. Janice was a Doughnut Maker employed by Mr. Donuts for over 5-years.
Janice was a parishioner of the former Sacred Heart of Jesus Church of Gardner and a parishioner of Annunciation Parish/ Holy Spirit Chapel of Gardner. She had a knack for the arts and loved painting and making ceramics. Janice also enjoyed working on crossword puzzles, reading and playing cards especially pitch with family and friends. Above all else, her family and friends were everything to Janice, and she deeply treasured time spent with them.
Janice is survived by her two daughters, Tina “Lee” Stellato and her significant other Brock Dunham of Templeton, and Loreen “Mo” Stellato of Gardner; three grandchildren, Patrick Stellato and his wife Amber, Cody Paine and Charlie Stellato; two great-grandchildren, Kaydin and Kasidey Stellato; a sister- in-law, Laura Sears; her best friends, Rick and Pam Amero; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She also leaves a son Fern Stellato of Phillipston; a daughter Susan Stellato of Winchendon; three grandchildren Alex, Daniel, and Malissa.
She was predeceased and now reunited with her husband, James Stellato; one sister, Darlene Kennedy; and four brothers, Donald, Gerald, Glenn-Scott and Robert Sears.
Funeral Services will be held, Saturday, July 10, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery, Patriots Road, Templeton, MA.
Calling Hours will be held Saturday, July 10, 2021, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
