Janice A. Cormier

Janice Ann Cormier, 78, of Gardner, died peacefully Monday, May 6, 2024, in the Gardner Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Gardner, after an illness.

Born in Gardner on July 30, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Flora (Cormier) Casey. She attended Holy Family Academy and Gardner High School. Janice was a waitress for the Blue Moon Diner, of Gardner.  She was previously employed by Rich’s Department Store as the Regional Jewelry Manager.

Janice was an avid Facebook gamer. She enjoyed KENO, shopping, and her two cats. 

Janice is survived by one daughter, Deborah Lee, of Port Charlotte, FL; one son, Michael Cormier, of Gardner; one grandson, Brandon Francis Cormier, of Fitchburg; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. 

Janice was predeceased by her husband, Francis Joseph Cormier, who died May 1, 2001; one sister, Lorraine Whipple; one brother, Gerard Casey; and one great-grandchild, Mia Marie Cormier. 

There are no services at this time.
