Janet E. (Wallace) Lipke, 81, of Westminster, died peacefully Monday, September 5, 2022, in UMass Memorial Medical Center—University Campus, Worcester, after a short illness.
Born in Athol on February 28, 1941, she was the daughter of the late John and Dorothy (Quinn) Wallace. She graduated from Athol High School with the Class of 1959.
Janet was a congregant of Our Savior Lutheran Church of Westminster. She enjoyed baking and watching her Boston Red Sox. Janet loved her dogs Shamus and Branch, but her greatest joy in life was her family, treasuring all the special moments together.
Janet is survived by her two daughters, Kim G. Gould of Athol and Kellye E. LeClerc and her husband Matthew of Templeton; a son, Keith W. Lipke and his wife Jennifer of Templeton; eight grandchildren, Nicole Gould, Amanda Surette, Vanessa Lipke, Craig Cascio Jr., Emma and Matthew LeClerc, Amy and Neveah Lipke; nine great-grandchildren, Dylan Phelps, Abrianna, and Brody Earley, Gabriel Surette, Opal and Jamison Cascio, Dallas Boykin, Orion and Harley Lipke; a brother, John Wallace Jr. of Athol; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was predeceased by her husband, Ervin G. Lipke, who died in 2017; and a sister, Joanne Sault.
Calling Hours will be held Friday, September 16, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in Our Savior Lutheran Church, 1 Hager Park Road, Westminster, MA.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, September 16, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. in the church.
Burial will be held Monday, September 19, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. in the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 111 Glenallen Street, Winchendon, MA.
