Janet L. (Rousseau) Bussell, 71, of Westminster, died peacefully Friday, July 21, 2017 in UMASS Memorial Medical Center, Worcester, following an accident at home.
Janet was born in Gardner on April 9, 1946, the daughter of the late Alvin and Lea (Boucher) Rousseau.
She received her Associates Degree in Nursing from Mount Wachusett Community College of Gardner in 1990, and was a Registered Nurse employed by Gardner Rehabilitation and Nursing Center for several years, retiring in 2016.
Janet was a member of Annunciation Parish/Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church of Gardner.
She loved spending time at Laurel Lake, the ocean (especially Hampton Beach), and traveling. Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family, and watching her grandchildren play football.
She was predeceased by her husband, John Bussell, who died in 2007.
Janet leaves one son, Bo John Kallel and his wife Wendy M. of Baldwinville; two daughters, Holly Teeter Tincher and her husband Robert of Augusta, GA, and Phyllis Teeter Cormier and her husband Normand of Westminster; one brother, Alvin "Ti-Boy" Rousseau and his wife Barbara of Cape Cod; one sister, Elaine Murray and her husband Leo of Templeton; seven grandchildren, Timothy John Bergevin, Jr., Dakota Dustin Kallel, Dominic Tyler Kallel, Bo John Kallel, Jr., Adrianna Elizabeth Kallel, Alexandra Durant and Adam Asa Durant; two great-grandchildren, Gracie Lee Keuhl Bergevin and Kelcie Bergevin; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her son, Asa Lowell Teeter who died in 1985; and by two sisters, Charlotte Chichonski and Nancy McGinty.
A 'Celebration of Life' will be held Saturday, August 12th from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at 12 Prospect Street Extension, Baldwinville.
