James R. “Jimmy Lemons” Saulnier, 72, of Gardner, died peacefully Friday, June 28, 2019 in UMass Memorial HealthAlliance-Clinton Hospital, Leominster Campus, following an illness.
James was born in Moncton, N.B. Canada on October 8, 1946, the son of the late Bertha (Saulnier) (Pelletier) Hietela. He was a member of Annunciation Parish/Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church of Gardner. James enjoyed fishing, and he loved spending time visiting with friends in downtown Gardner. He was a free spirit with a kind soul who gave to others in need, including the shoes off his feet. He will be missed.
He leaves his brother, George Pelletier and his wife Connie of Gardner; son, Shawn Saulnier of Orange; several nephews and cousins. James was predeceased by his son, Kristopher Saulnier; and brother, Edgar Pelletier.
Private Graveside Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
