James B."Jim" Reynolds

August 17, 1950 — May 22, 2014

James B. "Jim" Reynolds, 63, of Gardner, died Thursday, May 22, 2014 in his residence, following a determined, courageous fight with cancer.
Jim was born in Fitchburg on August 17, 1950, the son of the late Ambrose and Marion L. (Kenney) Reynolds.
He was employed by Seaman Paper Company of Otter River as the Superintendent of Maintenance for over 30 years.
He was a member of the Gardner Pistol Club and the Gardner Municipal Golf Course.
Jim enjoyed motorcycles, playing golf, listening to music, playing his guitar and tending to his gardens. Jim and his wife Dawn loved to travel. Over the years they had traveled to several Caribbean islands, Hawaii and many European countries; they made wonderful friends throughout the world. Jim loved spending time with his four legged companions, Angel, Peter and Washee. Jim was affectionately known as "Uncle Jim" or "Grampy Jim" to many of his friends' children. He was also honored to be chosen as the Godfather to several of these children; a role with responsibilities, which he took great pride in and gave of himself wholeheartedly. Jim loved to make people laugh, and will always be remembered by those who knew him well for his ability to "spin" a story or two.
Jim leaves his wife of 31 years, Dawn S. Reynolds of Gardner; one son, Jody W. Reynolds of Winchendon; one brother, Steve Reynolds of Davenport, IA; three sisters, Barbara Weilbronner of Bell, FL, Sandra Currie of Fitchburg and Anne Thomas of Leominster; mother-in-law, Eleanor Arsenault of Baldwinville; brother-in-law, whom he considered more like a brother, Lloyd Oja and his three children, Ben, Cate and Avery of Orleans, MA; four Godchildren, Kate Arsenault, Michael Whittle, Mason and Madison Gould; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
