James M. "Mike" Randall, 62, of 24 Kraft Street, Gardner, died peacefully Saturday, September 12, 2015 in his residence, surrounded by family and friends.
Mike was born in Pittsfield on March 31, 1953, the son of the late David and Barbara (McHale) Randall.
He graduated from Keith Academy of Lowell and later attended college.
Mike was a volunteer and patient monitor for Heywood Hospital of Gardner, after retiring from various sales positions. He was formerly a Salesman employed by Lowell Paper Box Co., Inc. of Lowell for over 20 years.
Mike was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church of Gardner.
He enjoyed fishing, golfing and spending time with his grandchildren. He loved volunteering and also took great pride in selflessly helping people in recovery.
Mike leaves two daughters, Mary Houle and her husband Tim of Litchfield, NH and Kerry Randall; one son, Chris Randall of Gardner; four brothers, David Randall and his wife Linda of Salisbury, Thomas and his wife Marie in Salem, NH, Paul Randall of Gardner, Larry Randall of Lakeworth, FL; one sister, Kathy Flaherty of Dracut; four grandchildren, Ava and Skyla Houle and Christopher and Sean Randall; aunts and uncles, Sr. Fran Randall, Bill Randall, Janet and John Donahue of Chelmsford; Sharon and Jim O'Brian of Los Altos, CA, Martha and George Merritt of Wells, ME, Donny and Paula McHale of Tyngsboro, Judy McHale of Hudson, NH, Nancy and John Steven of Boston, Norbert "Buzzy" and Renee McHale of Nashua, NH and Kathleen Broderick of Naples, FL; several nieces, nephews and several adoring cousins. He also leaves his dear friends, Bridgitte Pennyman and Delores Lucas; his best friend, Kevin "Fitz" Fitzgerald who took incredible care of him while he was ill; and his good friend, Scott Cordiero who also took special care of him during his illness. He was predeceased by one aunt, Sr. Mary Randall.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, September 19th with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in Annunciation Parish/Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner.
