James Webster "Jim" Mundell, 79, of Fort Erie, Ontario, Canada, died May 4th in Redstacks Retirement Home, Fort Erie, Ontario

Born in Athol, MA on May 27, 1926, he was the son of Alfred and Gladys Mundell Sr.
He was an inspector employed by General Motors, Buffalo, NY for 25 years until retiring in 1993.
Jim enjoyed bowling, making latch hook rugs and was a loyal fan of the Buffalo Bills.
He was a member of the U.S. Army.
He leaves 1 son, Michael Mundell of Buffalo, NY; 1 daughter, Marie C. Pierce and fiance Richard J. Straitiff of Jaffrey, NH; 2 brothers, John Mundell and wife Beverly of Athol, George Mundell and wife Carolyn of Idaho; 3 sisters, Beverly Haines and Blanche White both of Athol, Charlotte Whitley and husband Donald of Lincoln, ME; 4 grandchildren, Joseph and Tina Arsenault, Tiffany and Taylor Mundell; 2 great-grandchildren, Jasmine Marcotte and Kirsten Giroux; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his wife of 20 years, Dorothy "Peg" (Mazur) Mundell, 4 brothers, Alfred Jr., Richard, Harry, Donald Mundell, and 3 sisters, Harriet Mundell, Virginia Bjorsen, Lois Masterson.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 3rd at 2:00 p.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols St., Gardner.
A calling hour at the funeral home will be Saturday, June 3rd, from 1:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
