James "Jim" P. Mularella, 47, a lifelong Gardner resident died Wednesday, February 28th.
He was born in Gardner on September 24, 1959, the son of John Mularella and the late Jacqueline (Fredette) Nygard.
Jim was employed by Friendly's Restaurant in Gardner as a cook, several years ago.
He is a 1977 graduate of Montachusett Regional Vocational Technical School, Fitchburg, where he studied culinary arts.
Jim was an avid sports fan, and was an umpire for the Gardner Little League Baseball Association. He also enjoyed playing cards.
Besides his father, John Mularella of Gardner, he leaves two sisters, Cathy Goodwin of Oakland, Maine and Suzan Dennis of Colorado Springs, Colorado; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He also leaves his good friend, Jeff Palmieri and family of Gardner.
Jim was predeceased by his mother and a brother, John Mularella who died in 1974.
Funeral services will be held next Saturday, March 10th at 1:30 p.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner. Reverend Andre Dargis of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church will officiate. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Gardner at a later date.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be Saturday, March 10th from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
