James D. Flamer, 59, of 14 Halford St., Gardner died Friday in his residence following an illness.
Born in Stockley, Delaware on August 17, 1944, he was the son of Grace Flamer of Delaware.
Prior to his illness, he was a farmer employed by the Templeton Developmental Center of Templeton for 20 years.
He was an avid pool player.
He leaves his wife of 24 years, Marie E. (Perry) Flamer of Gardner; two sons, Anthony Flamer and Jason Flamer; 2 daughters, Jayme Flamer and Ashley Berube, all of Gardner; his mother, Grace Flamer Chase of Dover, Delaware; a half-sister, Alberta Crapper of Magnolia, Delaware; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Monday from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols St., Gardner with a Mass at 12:00 noon in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols St., Gardner.
Calling hours at the funeral home are Sunday from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
