Irene P Melanson

Irene P. Melanson, 61, of 59 Eastwood Circle, Gardner, formerly of Waltham until to 2009, died suddenly Wednesday, April 13, 2011 in Heywood Hospital, Gardner, surrounded by her family.
Born in Moncton, N.B. Canada on January 19, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Alyre and Geneva (Theriault) Melanson.
Irene was a member of St. Charles Church in Waltham.
She enjoyed Rock 'n Roll music and was an avid sports fan; especially hockey and wrestling. Irene enjoyed dining out and loved Dunkin' Donuts iced coffee.
She leaves one brother, Ulysse "Ernie" Melanson and his wife Genny of Moncton, N.B. Canada; two sisters, Emma Melanson of Waltham and Annette D. Bourgeois of Gardner; four nieces, four nephews, fifteen great nieces and nephews and several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by one brother, John-Paul Melanson and one sister, Corinne Utley.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday, April 22nd at 7:00 p.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner. Burial will be at a later date in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham.
A calling hour in the funeral home will be Friday, April 22nd from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
