Irene M. "Nana" (Craig) Hannaford, 71, of 176 Manca Drive, Gardner died Friday in Wachusett Manor Nursing Home, Gardner following an illness.
Born in Walpole, NH on November 10, 1932, she was the daughter of Henry and Evelyn (Moody) Craig.
She was a Nurses' Aide employed at various medical facilities.
She was a member of United Congregational Church of Worcester and was a member of D.A.V. Women's Auxillary of Vermont.
She leaves 1 son, Robert W. Jones of Halifax, VT; 3 daughters, Laurel D. Jones of Pennsylvania, Susie E. Bailey of Florida and Priscilla L. Hayes of Gardner; 1 brother, Daniel Craig of North Carolina, 1 sister, Rachel Fisher of Vermont; 7 grandchildren, Tyler M. Peters, William A. Adams Jr., Samantha E. Adams, Angela F. and Mark A. Rau, Robert A. Jones and Justin L. Hayes; 4 great-grandchildren, Maria F. Page, MacKenzie E. Hayes, Jeffrey P. and Alexandra E. Struck; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services are private and will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
