Inez "Mrs. Charlie" (Carpenter) Gaidanowicz, 87, of Baldwinville, died quietly Sunday, March 3, 2013 in the Baldwinville Nursing Home, Baldwinville, following a brief illness with family and friends present.
Born in Baldwinville on March 22, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Simon and Eva (LaPorte) Carpenter.
Inez was employed by Walter E. Fernald School in Templeton as the Program Coordinator for many years, retiring in 1983.
She graduated from the former Templeton High School with the Class of 1943.
Inez was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Church in Baldwinville.
She enjoyed watching cooking shows, cooking, reading, sewing and helping her husband Charlie on their farm.
Inez was predeceased by her husband, Charles Gaidanowicz who died August 22, 2005.
She leaves many nieces and nephews. Inez was predeceased by two brothers, Earl and Robert Carpenter; and by three sisters, Ora Desrosiers, Marion Ferraris and Yvonne Proulx.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, March 9th from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner with a Mass at 11:30 a.m. in St. Vincent de Paul Church, 1 Forest Street, Baldwinville. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Gardner.
Calling hours will be Saturday, March 9th from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
