Ida (Breau) Lavoie, 107, of 51 Hospital Road, Baldwinville, and formerly of 287 Baker Street, Gardner, died Friday, May 25, 2007 in the Baldwinville Nursing Home, Baldwinville.
She was born in Cocagne, N.B. Canada on July 15, 1899, the daughter of Edouard and Genevieve (Arseneault) Breau.
. She was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, Gardner.
Mrs. Lavoie was a homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with her family.
Ida was predeceased by her husband of 41 years, Levite Lavoie, who died in 1969 and a daughter May Lavoie who died in 2000.
She leaves 2 sons, Raymond J. Lavoie and his wife Helena of Marietta, GA and Edgar J. Lavoie and his wife Rita of Westminster; 2 daughters, Jeannine C. Berthiaume of Ware, MA, and Anna Hebert and her husband Raymond of Tewksbury, MA; 1 sister, Mathilda Heglin of Shirley, MA; 8 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 30th from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner, with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Gardner.
Calling hours at the funeral home are Wednesday, May 30th from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
