Henri J Robichaud

Henri J. Robichaud, 86, of 125 Connors Street, Gardner, died peacefully Wednesday, January, 20th in Wachusett Manor Nursing Home, Gardner, surrounded by his family, following a brief illness.

Born in Barachois, N.B. Canada on September 22, 1923, he was the son of the late Adolph and Aline (Melanson) Robichaud.

Henri was a sander employed by S. Bent Brothers of Gardner for 22 years, retiring in 1988. He was previously employed by Heywood Wakefield Co. of Gardner for 10 years.

Henri was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, Gardner.

His hobbies included woodworking, gardening and walking. Henri enjoyed watching the Catholic Mass on television and his two favorite game shows, Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune. He most enjoyed spending time with his family.

Henri leaves his wife of 59 years, Marguerite M. (Faucher) Robichaud of Gardner; one son, Peter J. Robichaud of Gardner; four brothers, Alonzo Robichaud and his wife Yvonne of Dieppe, N.B. Canada, Normand Robichaud and his wife Anne Marie of Barachois, N.B. Canada, Alpherie Robichaud of Montreal Canada and Omer Robichaud and his wife Regina of Barachois, N.B. Canada; one sister, Emelia Belliveau of Shediac, N.B. Canada; three grandchildren, Corey Robichaud, Hannah Robichaud and Amy Robichaud; one great-grandchild, Keanna Lewis; one aunt, Yvonne Arsenault; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by three sons, Michael P. Robichaud who died in 2009, Ronald J. Robichaud who died in 2003 and Robert J. Robichaud who died in 1976; and by several brothers and sisters.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, January 30th from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery.

A calling hour in the funeral home will be Saturday, January 30th from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
