Helen C. (Collette) Pelletier, 75, of 59 Eastwood Circle, Gardner, formerly of 27 South Pleasant Street, South Ashburnham, died Wednesday, September 6th in the Leo P. LaChance Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing, following a long illness.
Born in Gardner on October 9, 1930, she was the daughter of Joseph and Ida (Goguen) Collette.
Helen was a member of Higher Ground Ministries, Gardner. She was an avid Boston Red fan, and enjoyed playing bingo and knitting.
Helen leaves her husband of 55 years, Alfred J. Pelletier of South Ashburnham; 4 sons, Eugene A. Pelletier and his wife Sue, Bernard J. Pelletier all of South Ashburnham, Donald E. Pelletier and his wife Jane of Holden, Kenneth G. Pelletier and his wife Marcia of Gardner; 3 daughters, Leona P. Skehan and her husband John P. of South Ashburnham, Cecelia A. Cormier and her husband James, Gloria A. Auger and her husband Robert all of Gardner; 1 brother Frances Collette of Florida; 1 sister Katherine Minichiello of Florida; 11 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be Monday September 11th at 2:00 p.m. in Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner. Burial will be at a later date in New Cemetery, Ashburnham.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be Sunday, September 10th from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
