Helen V Dockum

Helen V. (Turski) Dockum, 93, of Baldwinville, died peacefully Thursday, December 13, 2018 in Alliance Health at Baldwinville.

            Helen was born in Baldwinville on June 6, 1925, the daughter of the late Stanley and Helen M. (Dymek) Turski.

            She graduated from the former Templeton High School with the Class of 1943, and was employed for 42 years as a Customer Service Representative for National Grid of Worcester, retiring in 1987.

            Helen was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Church of Baldwinville. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with family.

            Helen was predeceased by her husband of 39 years, Ricker B. Dockum, who died in 1988.

            She leaves one brother, Edward Turski and his wife Janice of Baldwinville; niece, Cheryl Turski of Templeton; nephew, Edward Turski, Jr. and his wife Dawn of Winchendon; and several cousins.

            Funeral Services will be held Thursday, December 27th at 11:00 a.m. in St. Vincent de Paul Church, 1 Forest Street, Baldwinville. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Baldwinville.

Family and friends are asked to report directly to the church the morning of the services.

            There are no calling hours.
