Helen V. (Daley) Archambeault, 100, of Gardner, died peacefully in her sleep Friday, June 15, 2018 in Wachusett Manor Nursing Home of Gardner.
Helen was born in Gardner on December 18, 1917, the daughter of the late William and Eva (LaRoche) Daley.
She graduated from Gardner High School with the Class of 1936. Helen was a member of the former Sacred Heart of Jesus Church of Gardner.
Helen and her husband owned and operated the former Archambeault Paint and Wallpaper store in Gardner for 30 years.
She enjoyed reading romance novels, listening to music and knitting with her sister and mother. Helen also enjoyed cooking, spending time in Florida, and she loved the holidays. She loved to laugh, and her happiest moments were those spent with her family.
Helen was predeceased by her husband of 59 years, Leo J. Archambeault, who died January 23, 1997.
She leaves one daughter, Pearl M. Harding and her husband Richard of Green Acres, FL; two sons, Roger P. Archambeault and his wife Judith of Princeton, and Donald Archambeault and his wife MaryAnn of Oldsmar, FL; eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Helen was predeceased by her brother, Raymond H. Daley; and sister, May L. Brideau.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, June 22nd from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in Annunciation Parish/Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner. Burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
A calling hour will be held Friday, June 22nd from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
