Timothy J. Griffin, 51, of 258 Pine St., Gardner, died unexpectedly Wednesday, October 19th in Heywood Hospital, Gardner shortly after being stricken ill at home.
Born in Somerville on March 29, 1954, he was the son of John L. Griffin Sr. and Anne T. (Leonard) Griffin.
He was a 1972 graduate of Somerville High School and enjoyed football, baseball and basketball.
He leaves 2 brothers, John L. Griffin of Gardner, David F. Griffin and wife Bonnie of Somerville; 2 nieces, 2 nephews, 2 greatnephews, 1 greatniece and several cousins. He was predeceased by a brother James Griffin of Gardner.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 22nd @ 10:00 a.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols St., Gardner. Rev. Andre Dargis will officiate. Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery, Gardner.
A calling hour at the funeral home will be Saturday, October 22nd from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
