Gloria D. Bastarache

Gloria D. (LeBlanc) Bastarache, 85, of 686 Baldwinville Road, Baldwinville, died peacefully Wednesday, October 23, 2013 in the Baldwinville Nursing Home, Baldwinville.
Born in Gardner on July 20, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Melas and Marie (Cormier) LeBlanc.
Gloria was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, Gardner and its Ladies of St. Anne Society.
She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who spent her life as a homemaker. She enjoyed reading, puzzles and crocheting afghans. She loved Bingo, and played every Thursday night for 20 years at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church. She enjoyed watching television; her favorite shows were soap operas, The Price is Right and Wheel of Fortune.
Gloria leaves her husband of 63 years, Joseph J. Bastarache of Templeton; two sons, Donald N. Bastarache of Fitchburg and Dennis G. Bastarache and his wife Donna of Amherst; one daughter, Donna M. Bastarache of Gardner; two grandchildren, Derick and Amanda Bastarache; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by four brothers, Raymond, Alvin, Donald and Paul LeBlanc.
Funeral Service will be held Saturday, October 26th from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Gardner.
A calling hour will be Saturday, October 26th from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
