Gloria M. Audet

Gloria M. (DeMaura) Audet, 83, of Gardner, died peacefully, Tuesday, December 10, 2019, in Wachusett Manor, Gardner, surrounded by her family.

Born in Gardner on November 1, 1936, she was the daughter to the late Manuel and Bernadette (Dupre) DeMaura. She was a graduate of Gardner High School, graduating with the Class of 1956. Gloria was a United States Air Force Veteran serving from 1956 to 1959. She was employed by the former Rich’s Department Store for 25-years as a salesclerk until her retirement in 1997.

Gloria was a member of Annunciation Parish/ Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church. She loved travelling, knitting, crocheting, cooking, and enjoyed watching both the Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy. She especially cherished and loved time spent with her family.

She leaves her husband of 61-years Richard R. Audet of Gardner; one daughter Karen E. Landry and her husband Michael of Westminster; two sons Kevin G. Audet and his wife Ann of Gardner, and Jeffrey K. Audet of Gardner; seven grandchildren Justin Landry, Colleen Suarez, Jennifer Buckingham, Rebecca Beirholm, Keith Audet, Marcy, and Brian LeBlanc; nine great-grandchildren Alanna, Lila and Jordyn Suarez, Carissa Beirholm, Aeryn and Olivia Landry, Logan and Noah Buckingham, and Hunter Gauthier; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was predeceased by one sister Joan Manning and three brothers Ernest “Cokey,” Robert, and Norman DeMaura.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, December 13, 2019, from the Boucher Funeral Home, 110 Nichols Street, Gardner with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in Annunciation Parish at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner. A Burial will be held at a later date in St. John’s Cemetery, West Street, Gardner.

A Calling Hour will be held Friday, December 13, 2019, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
