Glenn W. F. Edwards, 29, of 43 Park Vale Avenue, Allston, formerly of 146 Nichols Street, Gardner, died unexpectedly Tuesday, June 20, 2006 in Chatham, Massachusetts.

Born in Stoughton, on May 13, 1977, he was the son of William and Patricia (Bolton) Edwards of Gardner.

He was the Athletic Director at Milton Academy in Milton, MA for the past 2 years. He was previously employed by Cheshire Academy in Cheshire, Connecticut as an Assistant Athletic Director and History Teacher.

He was a 1995 graduate of Cushing Academy in Ashburnham, MA. He graduated from Middlebury College, Middlebury, Vermont in 1999 majoring in History and Religion. He received his Masters Degree in Education from the University of Miami in 2001. He was to attend Boston University Law School in September.

Glenn was a member of the Boston Gay Basketball League and the 5 Star General Softball Team of Boston. He also participated in several volunteer service organizations while attending Middlebury College. Glenn enjoyed discussing religion and politics. He was an avid poker player and also a great fan of the New England Patriots and the Boston Red Sox.

Besides his parents of Gardner, he leaves one sister, Andrea Edwards, his maternal grandmother Elaine D. (Dorne) Bolton both of Gardner, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral Services will held Monday, June 26th at 10:00 am in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner. Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery, Gardner.

Calling hours at the funeral home are Sunday, June 25th from 1:00p.m. to 4:00p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donors choice.
