Gertrude Anna"Gert" Hebert

Gertrude "Gert" Anna (Gaulin) Hebert, 96, of 780 Pearl Street, Gardner, died Monday, March 10th in her residence following a long illness.

Born in Stafford Springs, Ct on August 13, 1911, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Goady) Gaulin.

Gertrude was a Nurses Aide employed by Heywood Hospital, Gardner for 14 years, until retiring in 1975. She was previously employed by Simplex Time Recorder, Gardner for 7 years.

Mrs. Hebert was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, Gardner, and also a member of the Montachusett Organ Club.

Gertrude was known as a gourment cook, accomplished seamtress and she enjoyed playing the organ.

Mrs. Hebert was predeceased by her husband of 47 years, Raymond J. Hebert, who died March 13, 1993.

She leaves two dear nieces, Therese M. Downing and Doris M. Collette; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 15th from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Gardner.

A calling hour in the funeral home will be Saturday, March 15th from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
