Gerald “Gerry” F. Webb, 89, of Gardner, died peacefully Wednesday, January 25, 2023, in UMass Memorial Medical Center—Memorial Campus, Worcester, after a brief illness.
Born in Winchendon on January 9, 1934, he was the son of the late Maurice “Robert” and Mary (Johnson) Webb. He graduated from Murdock High School with the Class of 1953. Gerry was employed by S. Bent Brothers of Gardner for 41-years prior to his retirement in 1998.
Gerry was a parishioner of Annunciation Parish/ Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church of Gardner. He enjoyed going to yard sales and working around his house. Gerry was an excellent woodworker who loved to be down in his workshop making furniture for family and friends. His greatest joy in life was his family, treasuring all the special moments they had together.
Gerry is survived by his wife of 66-years. M. Joyce Webb of Gardner; two sons, Michael A. Webb and his wife Kimberly of Gardner and Randy G. Webb and his wife Sheila of Gardner; a daughter, Karen A. Taylor and her husband Robert of Gardner; three grandchildren, Nicholas Taylor, Anthony M. Webb, and Matthew R. Webb; a brother, Ronald Webb of Winchendon; a sister, Marjorie Deline of Winchendon; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was predeceased by a brother, Robert Webb; and a sister, Norma Anderson.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, January 28, 2023, from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA, with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in Annunciation Parish at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA. Burial at Notre Dame Cemetery, West Street, Gardner, MA, will be held at a later date.
A Calling Hour will be held Saturday, January 28, 2023, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
