Georgina F. (Cormier) Dick, 91, of 55 Harris Road, Nashua, NH where she has lived for the past four years, and formerly of 19 City Hall Ave., Gardner, died Sunday in Greenbriar Health Care Center, Nashua, NH, following an illness.
Born in Renauld Mill, NB, Canada on July 27, 1912, she was the daughter of Arcade and Evangeline (Cormier) Cormier.
She was an equipment turner operator employed by Simplex Time Recorder Co. of Gardner for 17 years, retiring in 1972. She was previously employed as a nurses' aide by Heywood Hospital where she worked for 4 years.
Mrs. Dick was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church and its Ladies of St. Anne Society. She was an avid cook.
Her husband of 57 years, William C. Dick Sr., died in 1996.
She leaves 1 son, William C. Dick Jr. and his wife, Linda of Gardner; 1 daughter, Janice A. (Morrissey) Drummey and her husband, John of Merrimack, NH; 2 sisters, Eva Bilodeau of Rutland and Severine Ledger of Worcester; 1 granddaughter, Lesa Bregy and her husband Troy of Berwick, Maine; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by 2 brothers, Oscar Cormier and Emile Cormier.
Funeral services will be held Thursday from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols St., Gardner with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols St., Gardner.
Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Gardner.
Calling hours at the funeral home are Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
