George L. 'Len' Fuller, 85, of 195 South Main St., East Templeton, died Sunday, March 6th in his residence following an illness.
Born in Gardner on June 4, 1919, he was the son of Arthur and Mary (Gilman) Fuller.
He was a superintendent employed by Hartshorn Mfg. Co. of Gardner for 50 years, retiring in 1996.
He was a member of Holy Cross Church, East Templeton. Mr. Fuller was a family man who enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a Red Sox and Patriots Fan.
Mr. Fuller was a World War II U.S. Army Veteran and received the Good Conduct Medal, Victory Medal, American Theater Campaign Ribbon and the European African Middle Eastern Theater Campaign Ribbon.
His wife of 51 years, Dorothy D. (Coulombe) Fuller died in 1996.
He leaves 1 daughter, Jeanette C. Gallant and her husband Thomas of East Templeton with whom he lived; 1 sister, Pearl Johnson of East Templeton; 1 grandson, Christopher Miskavitch; 2 great-grandchildren, Elizabeth and Evan Miskavitch; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by 4 brothers, Dana, Alvin, Arthur and Donald Fuller and a sister, Hazel Laflamme.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 9th @ 11:00 a.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols St., Gardner. Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery, Gardner.
A calling hour at the funeral home will be Wednesday, March 9th from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
