Gary M. Lorion, 65, of Gardner, died peacefully Friday, October 15, 2021, after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease.
Born in Gardner on March 17, 1956, he was the son of the late Maurice and Ruth (Graves) Lorion. He graduated from Narragansett Regional High School with the Class of 1974. Gary was a CAD Operator employed by the former Simplex Timer Recorder and Tyco International of Westminster for 37-years until his retirement in 2016.
Gary was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed everything about nature, including hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed sports, including baseball and softball, and was active in the Simplex City League. Gary was an avid fan of his Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots. He was also known for his artistic ability
Gary is survived by the love of his life, Theresa (LaRoche) McGuinness of Gardner; a son Travis Lorion of Idaho; a daughter, Amy Lorion of Westminster; Theresa's daughter, Amber McGuinness of Gardner; a brother, Joseph Lorion, and his wife Robin of Phillipston; a sister, Mary LeBlanc and her husband Romeo of Athol; six grandchildren, Claira and Rylan Nolette, Aiden and Annabelle Lorion, Madison Cassidy and Paige Barry; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was predeceased by two brothers, Euclide "Buddy" Lorion and Carl Lorion.
Calling Hours will be held Wednesday, October 20, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, October 21, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, Bridge Street, Templeton, MA.
