Gary L Hanks

Gary L. Hanks, 54, of Athol, formerly of Gardner, died peacefully Saturday, November 18, 2017 in Heywood Hospital of Gardner, following a brief illness.
Gary was born in Gardner on July 8, 1963, the son of Rose-Marie (Laliberte) Hanks and the late Francis Hanks.
He was a self-employed flooring contractor for many years. He enjoyed four-wheeling, working on his home, and spending time with his family and grandchildren.
Gary was a member of Annunciation Parish/Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church of Gardner.
Besides his mother, Rose-Marie (Laliberte) Hanks of North Port, FL; he leaves one son, Dillan F. Hanks of Athol; one daughter, Brieanna L. Hanks and her significant other Michael Gagne of Greenfield; three brothers, Steven F. Hanks and his significant other Cathy Cormier of Gardner, Mark C. Hanks and his wife Joyce of Gardner, and Brian L. Hanks and his wife Kim of Fayetteville, NC; one sister, Kathy A. Carr and her significant other Mike Lambert of North Port, FL; three grandchildren, Makayla Valente, Brielle Gagne and Jackson Gagne; aunts and uncles, Lucille Maillet, Kenneth and Anita Hanks, Lindy and Joanne Allison; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, November 24th from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner with a Mass at 12:00 p.m. in Annunciation Parish/Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner. Burial will be held at a later date in Notre Dame Cemetery, Gardner.
Calling hours will be held Friday, November 24th from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
