Gary D. Eldridge

March 6, 1941 — April 6, 2008

Gary D. Eldridge, 67 of 100 Sand Street, Gardner, died peacefully, Sunday, April 6th in his residence, following a long illness.

Born in Passadumkeag, Maine on March 6, 1941, he was the son of Phillip and Truth (Severance) Eldridge.

Gary was a woodworker for many years, retiring at age 62.

He was a graduate of Old Town High School in Maine. He attended Fort Kent University of Maine for two years.

Gary was a United States Army Veteran, serving from 1959 - 1962.

He enjoyed basketball, baseball and watching the Sports Channel on television.

He leaves two sons, Rory K. Eldridge of TN, and Todd M. Eldridge and his wife Jan of Cayman Islands; two daughters, Lisa M. Drew and her husband Keith of Gardner, and Deidre A. Rybka and her husband Jason of Lunenburg; one brother, Churchill Eldridge of CA; one granddaughter, Emma J. Rybka; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 10th at 11:00 a.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner. Reverend Francis Roberge will officiate. Burial will be in the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Winchendon.

A calling hour in the funeral home will be Thursday, April 10th from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
