Frederick J. “Bill” St. Pierre, 87, of Baldwinville, formerly of Gardner, died peacefully Friday, September 14, 2018 in Alliance Health at Baldwinville.
Born in Winchendon on April 3, 1931, he was the son of the late Wilfred and Regina (Laplant) St. Pierre.
Bill was a graduate of Winchendon High School. He was employed by UC Press of Leominster as a Foreman for over 25 years, and was previously an Air Traffic Controller for the Manchester Municipal Airport.
Bill was a United States Korean War Air Force Veteran and received the Korean Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal.
He leaves his wife of 65 years, Dolores E. (Morrisseau) St. Pierre of Baldwinville; two sisters, Rena Pelchat of Holiday, FL and Estell Guertin of Gardner; two nephews, William Pelchat of Dover, NH and Rene Pelchat of Gardner.
Funeral Services and burial with full Military Honors will be held Thursday, October 4th at 3:00 p.m. in the MA Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 111 Glenallen Street, Winchendon.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner is handling the arrangements.
