Frank Seffinga

Frank Seffinga, 80, of 47 Lake St., Gardner and formerly of Racette Avenue, Gardner, died peacefully Friday, August 21st in Blair House Nursing Home, Worcester.
Born in Holland on January 16, 1929, he was the son of Yeb and Anneke (DeGager) Seffinga.
He was a machine operator employed by the Seaman Paper Co. of Baldwinville for 30 years until retiring in 1993. He then worked as a truck driver at GAAMHA of Gardner for several years.
Frank was a hard working family man who enjoyed watching old time television programs, playing cribbage, checkers and doing crossword puzzles.
His first wife, Shirley I. (Whipple) Seffinga died in 1977.
He leaves his present wife of 31 years, Rita (Bernard) Seffinga of Gardner; 2 daughters, Julie Hull and her husband Randy of Baldwinville, Linda LeBlanc and her husband Paul of Gardner; 3 stepsons, Donald Aube and his wife Elaine of Leominster, Alan Aube and Brian Aube both of Gardner; 5 stepdaughters, Christine Rameau and her husband Norman, Carole Martin, Janice Hauter all of Gardner, Ann Marie Heller of Leominster, Nancy Aveni and her husband James of Westminster; 5 grandchildren, Deborah and Heather Owens, John Smith, Kristin Godfrey and Matthew Hull; 1 greatgrandchild, Rylee Ann Barrieault; 14 step-grandchildren, Shane Crockett, Jason and Jonathan Martin, Jonathan Hauter, Jennifer and Ashley Heller, Josh, Thomas, Brandon, Brittany Aube, Jared Aveni, Christine Turkuvich, David Breault and Eric LeBlanc; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by several brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 25th at 12:00 noon in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols St., Gardner. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Gardner.
Calling hours at the funeral home are Tuesday, August 25th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimers Association, Massachusetts Chapter, 311 Arsenal St., Watertown, MA 02472.
