Frank D. Meskauskas Jr.

Frank D. Meskauskas Jr., 77, of Hubbardston, died unexpectedly Monday, December 4, 2023, after a long illness.

Born in Gardner on October 10, 1946, to the late Frank and Blanche (Duquette) Meskauskas. Frank enlisted in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam Era, serving from 1966 to 1970, where he received the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal and the Air Force Good Conduct Medal. He was proud of receiving his GED. Frank was a machinist for Harrington and Richardson during his earlier years, then going to work for Wayne Roy and finally working for Wood’s Heavy Equipment.

Frank loved watching his New England Patriots, going to dog racetracks, and was an avid fisherman. He will be greatly missed by all, especially his family whom he adored.

He is survived by a son, Dennis J. Meskauskas of Westminster; a daughter, April L. LeBlanc of Gardner; one brother, Daniel P. Meskauskas and his wife Lola of Templeton; a sister, Karen M. Beaton and her husband John of Gardner; two grandchildren, Spencer Marean and Envy (Jamie) LeBlanc; three great-grandchildren, Lily Gaudet, Benjamin Marean, and Brooklyn Marean; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He is predeceased by two brothers, James Meskauskas and Anthony Meskauskas.

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 15, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Massachusetts Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, 111 Glenallen Street, Winchendon, MA.

A Calling Hour will be held Friday December 15, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
