Francis J. Leger

Francis J. Leger, 71, of Fitchburg, died peacefully, Thursday, December 3, 2020, in UMass Memorial HealthAlliance Hospital, Leominster, after an illness.

Born in Gardner on February 19, 1949, he was the son of the late Alyre and Florence (Collette) Leger. Francis worked in the packaging room at GAAMAH, Inc., of Gardner for several years.

Francis was a parishioner of Annunciation Parish/ Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church of Gardner. He enjoyed writing, going out to eat, and going for rides. He loved to travel and especially enjoyed going on vacations. But the time that Francis truly cherished was spent with his friends.

Francis is survived his brother, Raymond J. Leger of Arkansas; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and two close friends and caregivers, Carl West and Steven Cristofono.

Funeral Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
